Helinet Aviation provides helicopter and aerial solutions to a diverse range of markets from its California headquarters. The company formed out of a 1998 merger with West Coast Helicopters, an organ transporter for local medical centers. Late helicopter pilot and West Coast Helicopters cofounder Alan Purwin led the merger and expanded Helinet Aviation to serve a diversified clientele that now includes Fortune 500 executives, celebrities, news stations, and hospitals.
The company delivers services for charter flights, film production, and electronic news gathering. Helicopter owners can also receive maintenance and piloting assistance through the Aircraft Management Program, which ensures the flight readiness of privately owned helicopters. The program also provides trained pilots to operate helicopters upon client request.
Services are made possible through a fleet of state-of-the-art helicopters. Helinet Aviation controls one of the largest fleets in Southern California. The company also outfits its fleet with advanced technologies that include SHOTOVER camera systems, which are gyro-stabilized systems designed to shoot aerial footage in ultra-high definition. Helicopters in the Helinet Aviation fleet also meet the safety standards required for the transport of patients and organs.
