As owner of one of the largest helicopter fleets in California, Helinet Aviation utilizes its cutting-edge aircraft to support a customer base seeking safe and comfortable charter flights, emergency medical transport, and more. For the past 18 years, the company has served Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) by facilitating its organ transport program. In fact, Helinet Aviation donated two aircraft to the hospital for use as air ambulances.
In honor of her commitment to medical aviation, Kathryn Purwin, CEO of Helinet Aviation, was inducted into CHLA’s Mary Duque Society. The hospital’s helipad is named in recognition of the good the Purwin family has done to support and advance life-saving medical air transportation services in their community.
Besides Helinet’s participation in health care, the business delivers film and television production equipment to clients involved in major film-making projects. Over its history, the company has worked on such blockbusters as Jurassic World and Batman v. Superman.
